With the guts of soul, the joy of funk and the harmonies of angels. Sarah’s mix of training, styles, experience and influences have given her a voice of distinct versatility, range and sensitivity. Soul, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Funk, Acoustic sounds. Sarah has over a 3 octave range, experience and training in classical, jazz, folk, blues, sacred and musical theatre.

She sings outrageously lyrical soul that doesn’t look back. Fusing fresh beats with acoustic jazz soul, funk folk to playful rock reggae. Mashing up tunes they love, “direct from the heart for your feet”.
 

 


Sarah has sung at the Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, National Festival Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival, Raffles Hotel Singapore, Farnham Maltings,

Sarah has performed commissions from Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and John Rutter. She has trained with, recorded and toured internationally with Farnham Youth Choir for 10 years.
 

 

Sarah received training and experience in classical, jazz and folk music and voice under the late Martin Read, David Victor Smith MBE and further vocal coaching from Morewenna Rowe.

Sarah performs at open mics and has recently been invited by Sofar Sound to perform at their secret intimate gigs in Yorkshire.

In Theatre, Sarah has been Composer and Music director for Common Ground Theatre’s Winter’s Tale Yorkshire Tour. Composer and performer for Engine Room Theatre, Junction Goole
