and a party. 

Casting on Humber / Here was a devised collaboration, live adventure, week long invitation and interactive theatre performance on Hull Marina. Live music, narrative, spoken word, physical comedy and clowning, unfolded in real time on and off a working boat. Working with adults experiences differences, vulnerabilities + physical disabilities from charity Castaway Goole, The Sobriety project, people subject to probation, professional artists + the wonderful people of Hull.

Starting in Goole, the company made their way along the humber and docked up on new land - Hull. To share their discoveries and invite the public of Hull onboard to create their own adventure. Devised over 6 months with the company.

Responding to the themes of STEPPING INTO NEW TERRITORY (exploration), GETTING OUT OF THE BOAT (overcoming fears), IMPROVISATION, THROWING AWAY OUR MAP + MAKING SPACE TO RE DISCOVER JOY IN THE GAME.
